BrandShyp LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to all of our digital properties.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. § 794d). WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Conformance at Level AA means our content meets all Level A and Level AA success criteria.

Technical Measures Implemented

BrandShyp LLC has taken the following steps to ensure accessibility of brandshyp.org:

  • Skip navigation link — A “Skip to main content” link appears on keyboard focus, allowing keyboard users to bypass the navigation menu.
  • Semantic HTML landmarks — All pages use <header>, <nav>, <main>, and <footer> elements so screen readers can navigate by region.
  • Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are reachable and operable via keyboard alone. Focus styles are visible on all interactive elements.
  • Color contrast — Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios: body text (#1e293b on white = 10:1), gold accent text on light backgrounds uses #c87000 (3.4:1 for large text).
  • Alternative text — All meaningful images include descriptive alt attributes. Decorative images use empty alt text (alt="").
  • Form labels — All form fields are associated with visible labels via matching for / id attributes.
  • Heading hierarchy — Pages use a logical heading order (H1 → H2 → H3) with no skipped levels.
  • Table headers — Data tables include <th scope="row"> elements so screen readers can identify header cells.
  • Accessibility widget — The UserWay accessibility widget is deployed site-wide, providing text resizing, contrast adjustment, reading guides, and other assistive features.
