A normal shift, in Sri Lanka time
US businesses are open while Sri Lanka is in the evening. Your rep page shows a green light when you may call each one.
Get ready (20 minutes). Check your inbox for replies and bounces. Open your rep page and pick the 6 to 8 businesses you will work tonight, green lights first. Open each website and confirm the opener before you use it.
Call Texas and the Central US. Their 9 AM starts now. Call, leave a voicemail if nobody answers, then send the first email the same evening.
West Coast opens. Keep calling. Email any time: email has no calling hours.
Wrap up (10 minutes). Press “I emailed them” for every email you sent. Send management the name and business of anyone who agreed to talk.
From early November, when US clocks go back, every time here starts one hour later. The lights on your rep page change on their own.
From claim to booking, or release
- First 30 days: dentists and med spas first. All three of us work the same two industries, so we learn quickly what works. Work your other businesses after those.
- Claim it on your rep page before you contact it. If another rep holds it, pick another.
- Read the site for two minutes. Confirm the opener on the card. Note the owner’s or manager’s name if the site shows it.
- Day 1: call when the light is green, from your BrandShyp softphone. No answer: leave the voicemail below. After every call, tap how it went on the business’s card.
- Day 1: send the first email (below), then press “I emailed them”.
- Day 4: second call and follow-up email.
- Day 11: third call and last email. Three calls is the limit; the softphone will not dial a fourth.
- No reply after that? Release it, so the hold goes to a business that may answer. A “maybe later” you can keep for its 45 days.
The first 20 seconds
Say who you are, show you looked at their business, ask for 30 minutes. Do not try to sell the project on this call: our US team does that.
The front desk
Get the name, the best time to call back, and an email. Do not pitch the receptionist: they cannot say yes, only no.
Voicemail (under 20 seconds)
Three emails, then stop
Every email carries our postal address and an easy way to say no. That is US law (CAN-SPAM), not a style choice. Honor every “no” the same day.
Email 1 (day 1)
Use the first email in the sales kit, with your opener in the second line.
Email 2 (day 4, reply to your first email)
Bringing this back to the top of your inbox. The [opener] on [website] is a quick fix, and our team can show you what it would look like in 30 minutes. You can pick a time here: [your tracked link]

Email 3 (day 11, the last one)
I’ll close the loop here so I’m not cluttering your inbox. If fixing [the opener] is ever useful, you can book a time with our team here: [your tracked link]. I won’t follow up again.

Send at most 10 new cold emails a day. Replies and follow-ups do not count toward that. The phone is your main channel: email backs up the call.
Booking the briefing
- Texas business? Offer an in-person visit first. A 20-minute visit at their office with our San Antonio team. Send the Copy visit link from their card: they choose in person or video and pick a time on our calendar, and it credits you. If they prefer video, send your tracked link instead. On the phone: no walkthrough, no demo, no prices.
- Lead with booking and missed calls, then marketing. Every agency pitches “SEO and social”; few can show a missed call answered by text at 9 PM. Open with that (the industry demo), and offer marketing as the add-on, or first only if they bring up Google, ads or social. Marketing is month-to-month, cancel any time: say so.
- Outside Texas: send your tracked link (the one on your rep page). When they book through it, the meeting is logged to you automatically and counts toward your goal.
- Always contact management too: the business, the person’s name, and what they care about. If they book from another phone or computer, the link cannot see it, and this message is how you still get credit.
- Your part ends at the booking. Our US team runs the briefing, writes the proposal and delivers the work. You are paid 15% of what the client pays in its first year, and 25% on the first US$10,000 of your first client.
Never bend these
Stop immediately when
- Anyone says stop, remove me, or not interested: press “Asked us not to contact”
- The business is any government body: no commission, pass it to management
- Someone is angry: apologize once, stop, and tell management
- The light is red: email instead, or wait
You never
- Promise a price, a discount or a deadline
- Say you are in the United States. You do not need to bring up where you are. If asked: “I work remotely with BrandShyp’s team in San Antonio.” Only if they ask where exactly: “I’m in Sri Lanka. The company and the team that runs your project are in San Antonio.”
- Name clients or results we have not given you
- Call from any phone except your BrandShyp softphone
Your first 30 days
120 contacts, 3 meetings booked, 1 proposal. About 6 contacts an evening gets you there. A contact is a call that connects from your softphone, or an email you log with “I emailed them”. Your rep page shows your progress and whether you are on pace.
Each week you will have a short check-in with management: what you tried, what people said, and what to change. Bring the objections you heard. They make the scripts better for everyone.
